Maruti Suzuki is planning to recall about 1.34 lakh units of WagonR and Baleno

Maruti Suzuki India Limited on 15 July 2020, announced about a recall process for the WagonR (1 Litre) and Baleno (Petrol) manufactured between the below period. The carmaker mentioned that they will inspect 56,663 units of WagonR and 78,222 units of Baleno for a possible issue with the fuel pump. The faulty part will be replaced, free of cost. Owners of the suspected vehicles under this recall process campaign will be contacted by authorized dealers soon.

WagonR (1 Litre) – between November 15th 2018 and October 15th 2019
Baleno (Petrol) – between January 8th 2019 and November 4th 2019

MG Hector Plus – Highlights

MG Hector Plus, from the word itself its a plus to the current Hector version with more space and several upgrades. MG recently launched the 6-seater SUV in India at a starting price of Rs.13.48 lakh. Also, the manufacturer says this is an introductory price offer and available till August 13. And after that, the price will be increased. The Hector Plus powered by 143 PS/250 Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 170 PS /350 Nm 2.0-liter diesel motors, BS6 compliant.

On the front, the MG Hector Plus features a new black grille on side of the sleeker-looking LED DRLs. Headlamps are also got some changes and its appealing as well. Apart from that new version gets new bumpers, new front-floating turn indicators, new tail lamps, and revised skid plates. The new Starry Blue color option is looking very beautiful. The new Hector Plus will be available in six color options such as Candy White, Glaze Red, Starry Black, Burgundy Red, Aurora Silver, and Starry Sky Blue. Interior also got some updates, it gets a 6-seat setup featuring captain seats with recline and slide function in the second row. And a new dashboard, leather upholstery, rear AC vents, adjustable headrests are the noticeable changes inside. Instead of keeping sports look inside with an all-black look on cabin-like 5 seat version, the Plus has a tan-on-black theme. And with the tailgate open, new plus has 155 liters of space and with rear seats folding you will get 530 liters of space. Also, this internet inside the car gets 55+ Internet Connectivity features. The competitor of MG Hector Plus is the Toyota Innova Crysta.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2020

Maruti launched its facelifted best selling sedan car Dzire in March. The facelifted version of Dzire is a BS6-compliant 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol engine along with some minor upgrades in the exterior front, while the diesel engine was discontinued. Dzire first introduced in 2008, it’s first-generation available in 2008 to 2012 span.  And from 2012 to 2017 their Dzire had its second generation, in 2017 got a facelift as well. Now Maruti made changes in the 2017 facelifted design with a new engine option.

For the facelifted Dzire, we can see a new Dueljet petrol engine. The Maruti Dzire is currently available with a single 90PS 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, available in both manual and automatic variant. As per Maruti, the manual variant returns 23.26kmpl while the AMT variant has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.12kmpl.  In the interior, features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, climate control, a multi-info display, keyless entry with push-button start. And on the exterior, you can see minor changes in the front grill. Also, Dzire has LED headlamps with LED DRLs. As usual, Maruti Dzire Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors with camera.

With the sedan sibling to the Swift hatchback, in the facelifted Dzire we can see an increase in prices, ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 16,000. The competitors of this Dzire include Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire, Tata Tigor.
