From the Hero MotorCorp we got a new addition in the 160 cc segment, its the new Hero Xtreme 160R. The new Hero Xtreme 160R has first mentioned in the Hero World 2020 event in February 2020. Hero Xtreme is considered to be a successful model form Hero MotorCorp , and the company frequently making changes to keep their position. The new Hero Xtreme is now mentioning on the website with a BS6 label as well.

The Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by a 160 cc single-cylinder engine makes 15 bhp at 8,500 rpm which is air-cooled and BS6 compliant. Also, this motorcycle gets Hero’s Xsens technology and programmed fuel injection. The engine equipped with a 5-speed gearbox and gets single-channel ABS as standard fitment. The company claiming that the motorcycle will reach a 0-60 kmph sprint time of 4.7 seconds. Considering the disc brakes, the front disc gets a standard 276 mm one while the rear gets an optional 220 mm disc.

Apart from these, with the good looking exterior we are getting full digital display, LED lighting package, side-stand engine cut-off feature. The newly designed fuel tank along with the blacked-out engine and frame adding a sporty look in the front. This is the motorcycle that included LED indicators first in the segment, and the newly designed Signature LED Taillamp is very attractive.

Toyota is set to launch another crossover called Urban Cruiser, It is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza which is the sub-4-meter segment. The all-new Urban Cruiser is Toyota’s second rebadged car model in India under the Suzuki-Toyota agreement. That means it offers a 1.5-litre petrol engine option, 4-cylinder petrol mild-hybrid powertrain that’s capable of churning out 77kW and 138Nm, driving the front wheels that is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque-converter automatic.

What is particularly handy about the Urban Cruiser using Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza platform, is the 198 mm ground clearance value. That should give it more than adequate gravel travel ability and also good pothole strike survivability, both ride and handling features which are of potentially great benefit to Indian drivers.

Key features include Cruise-control, New Smart Playcast touchscreen audio with Android Auto / Apple Carplay and smartphone-based navigation, Rain-sensing wipers, Auto AC [Standard feature for all versions], Electrochromic rearview mirror.

At the rear, the Urban Cruiser will feature a distinctive split tail light cluster with a unique LED light signature. The Urban Cruiser gets a very distinct – almost Fortuner-like front design to really make it stand out against its rivals. The estimated price is Rs. 8.50 -11.50 lakhs

The all-new Honda CB Hornet 200R BS6 is set to be launched in India. CB Hornet 200R will tackle the spirited bikes like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, KTM 200 Duke, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.

The Honda CB Hornet 200R features a sharp headlight, LED, of course, an LCD instrument panel, split-style alloy wheels, and a step-up seat. Honda has given the CB Hornet 200R a muscular appearance by way of a large fuel tank and angular body panels towards the rear of the motorcycle.

As far as performance is concerned, the Honda CB Hornet 200R will come with a 184.4cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-Fi)motor churns out 15.5bhp and 15.3Nm and HET with good economic characteristics. Linked to a simple five-speed manual transmission, the bike’s powertrain is rather rudimentary. This is, however, compensated for by some premium components the bike comes standard with. For starters, the Honda CB Hornet 200R will come with upside-down front forks giving the bike a slightly more rigid front end, and of course, a more premium look. The brakes are equipped with petal-type discs on both front and rear wheels.(2-Channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).

It is being said that the new 200cc motorcycle will be based on the Honda bike named globally as CB190R which the company has already patented for the Indian market.

The Honda CB Hornet 200R is expected to be launched in India at a price slightly north of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

New 2020 Mahindra Thar, Highlights

Mahindra Thar 2020 has been unveiled with a new look, and with more features loaded. Mahindra Thar 2020 will be launched on October 2. On the exterior design, the new Thar has undergone the same design pattern as most other modern off-roaders in the market. On the front, it features circular headlamps and a seven slat grille. In this vehicle the LED DRLs and turn indicators packed together near to headlamp. The circular fog lamps included in the front bumper.

We will get a 255/65 18in rubber with alloy wheels in the LX trim variant. The main highlight of the new variant is the availability of a factory-fitted hardtop. On the other side, Mahindra Thar will also be available with the regular fixed soft top in the lower AX variant and a convertible top as well. Also, we can remove the door for the AX variant. Backside we will notice the new LED tail detailing light package with THAR badging.

On the interior, the THAR welcomes all with a seven-inch infotainment screen that offers phone connectivity options. For audio experience, the speakers are mounted on the roof. The switches seem to the quality once and its dust, water-resistant. And the rear seats are forward-facing and its reclinable. The new Mahindra Thar will come in two engine options as 2.0-liter mStallion TGDi petrol engine and a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. And the variants include AX and LX. Currently, the price of the new Thar has not been revealed and expecting it to start at ₹10 lakh (approximately) by comparing the previous generation models.
