Maruti launched its facelifted best selling sedan car Dzire in March. The facelifted version of Dzire is a BS6-compliant 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol engine along with some minor upgrades in the exterior front, while the diesel engine was discontinued. Dzire first introduced in 2008, it’s first-generation available in 2008 to 2012 span. And from 2012 to 2017 their Dzire had its second generation, in 2017 got a facelift as well. Now Maruti made changes in the 2017 facelifted design with a new engine option.
For the facelifted Dzire, we can see a new Dueljet petrol engine. The Maruti Dzire is currently available with a single 90PS 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, available in both manual and automatic variant. As per Maruti, the manual variant returns 23.26kmpl while the AMT variant has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.12kmpl. In the interior, features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, climate control, a multi-info display, keyless entry with push-button start. And on the exterior, you can see minor changes in the front grill. Also, Dzire has LED headlamps with LED DRLs. As usual, Maruti Dzire Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors with camera.
The Maruti Dzire is offered in the following variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. With the sedan sibling to the Swift hatchback, in the facelifted Dzire we can see an increase in prices, ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 16,000. The competitors of this Dzire include Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire, Tata Tigor.
2020 Mahindra XUV300; Price, Mileage, Design, Interior, Specifications
The Mahindra XUV300 has been given very competitive pricing and the base variant, W4 begins with Rs 7.90 lakhs (Ex-showroom). And now to top it all, this car has reached another milestone. This vehicle has been a good seller in Mahindra’s lineup and they will continue to have it even after the BS6 norms kick in. The vehicle currently has a BS4 engine and faces the fear of discontinuation.
The BS6 2020 XUV 300 has now been spotted while testing. This confirms that Mahindra will be bringing this mini-beast back with an engine that is BS6 compliant. The cosmetic features of the car will not change at all. The car will remain under 4 meters.
2020 Mahindra XUV300 BS6 Launch
The launch of the 2020 Mahindra is expected as soon as the vehicle will pass the BS6 compliance. The car will be available will start making sales around the start of the next year. The probable month when this car arrives in the market will be January 2020.

These new engines are expected to be more fuel-efficient than the existing Mahindra engines. They will also be BS6 compliant. There will be an economy mode like we say in the Mahindra Marazzo too. These figures are on the basis of that the engine does not change much in performance with respect to the older engine.
Mahindra XUV300 Milestone
The 2019 Mahindra XUV300 has already crossed 25,000 production mark. The Mahindra XUV300 has crossed the 25,000-unit production milestone within six months of the compact SUV’s launch in the country. The car was launched in February 2019, it was registered with 13000 bookings within a month of launch. The 25000 unit mark in May 2019.
2020 Mahindra XUV 300 Interior
The SUV will get a Mahindra infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen. It will continue to get Bluetooth compatibility, reversing camera, USB and AUX connectivity. It will also get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The steering wheel will be a new one. This steering will also have audio and Bluetooth controls mounted on it. In addition, the Mahindra XUV 300 will also get automatic climate control, leather upholstery and a push-button start with keyless entry. There is a good center armrest with storage too. As seen in the image above, the car will also get storage above the glove-box too. All these features are on XUV 300 right now. Basically the 2020 vehicle will be BS6-compliant version of the existing model. It will offer good legroom at the rear as well and will seat 3 adults in comfort. In terms of features, Mahindra XUV 300 will be loaded up the car with a great amount of segment-first features.

The Mahindra XUV300 carries forward the characteristics of the XUV500 with its cheetah-inspired design, cheetah-like agility, thrilling performance, and advanced technology features. The XUV300 ‘s headlamps integrate with the fog lamps forming a Cheetah-like tear-duct, while the pronounced wheel arches are inspired from the muscular haunches of the Cheetah. Its modern grille, sculpted bonnet, pronounced shoulder & body lines along with an elevated stance, give the XUV300 a bold and charismatic road presence, while the dual-LED DRLs and bold LED tail lamps, create an indelible visual signature.

2020 Mahindra XUV300 Specifications
The XUV 300 will get petrol and diesel engines. The petrol will be a new 1.2-litre engine that has been recently developed. This will be available in a non-turbo format. This is the same engine which will be available on the KUV 100. This is an all-new project, expected to power future vehicles of Mahindra. The power that it will develop will be around 100bhp and 145Nm of torque. These numbers are our estimation but during the name reveal of this car, it was said that the car will be the most powerful in its class so we will have to wait on the official numbers for that
The diesel engine of the XUV 300 will either be the existing 1.5-litre unit that does duty in the TUV300 or there will be an all-new 2.0-litre engine that will develop around 138bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. This will make the XUV300 a very power-infused package to consider. As shown in the spy shots the car will get a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit from Aisin, Japan, which also does duty on the XUV500. Both the engine will be BS6 and but the whether the power remains same will be question here. The Mahindra XUV300 will a front will drive SUV. And as we have seen with the Marazzo, the car could come with AWD. There is also a chance that the car will get different driving modes like Tata Nexon. Modes could include City, Sport, Individual and Eco.

2020 MG Gloster Spied on Road Test in India for the First Time
SAIC-owned MG Motor today launched the MG Gloster in India for a starting price of Rs 28.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in four variants and a couple of seating configurations (six-seater and seven-seater), the MG Gloster price goes up to Rs 35.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For the uninitiated, the MG Gloster is MG Motor’s flagship SUV in India and answer to the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4. These prices are, however, introductory and valid until October 31, 2020 or for the first 2,000 customers, whichever comes earlier.
The four different variants that you find in the MG Gloster are Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. The SUV’s seating pattern differs based on the variant. The entry-level Super gets a seven-seater configuration, while the top-spec Savvy features a six-seater layout. The Smart has a seven-seater configuration. In the Sharp, you can choose between six- and seven-seater layouts.
Before moving on to the variant-wise prices of the MG Gloster, let us have a detailed look at its powertrains. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that develops 163PS and 375Nm. Also available is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel mill that belts out 218PS and 480Nm. Both the motors are paired with an 8-speed AT. The variants with 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel mill feature on-demand 4WD as well. The Gloster comes with an electromechanical differential lock, BorgWarner AWD transfer case and off-road modes, including Mud, Sand, Snow and Rock.
The Super and Smart variants of the MG Gloster get the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, while the Sharp and Savvy trims are equipped with the 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel mill. Below are the variant-wise MG Gloster prices (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Some might say that the MG Gloster does not have an eye-catchy design. But given the SUV’s generous proportions, you can’t exactly ignore it on road! The Gloster is 4,985mm in length, 1,926mm in width and 1,867mm in height. It has a 2,950mm long wheelbase. It is bigger than the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour, and longer and higher than the Mahindra Alturas G4. In terms of wheelbase, the Gloster trumps its three rivals. The notable exterior features in the MG Gloster include chrome front grille, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, quad tailpipes and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Depending on the variant, you find either a six-seater (2+2+2) configuration or a seven-seater (2+3+2) layout inside the cabin. If you go for the six-seater option, you are welcomed by second-row captain seats, a first for any SUV in this segment and price bracket. The 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible and is paired with a 12-speaker audio system. Also available are creature comforts like a 12-way power-adjustable driver, 8-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, 8-inch MID, cruise control PM 2.5 filter, wireless charging, TPMS and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The i-Smart 2.0 connectivity technology in the Gloster offers more than 70 features.
The safety features in the new MG Gloster include six airbags, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill hold control, hill descent control, ABS + EBD and brake assist, front and rear disc brakes, 360-degree around-view camera, reverse parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, and driver fatigue reminder system.
The top-of-the-line MG Gloster Savvy variant is also equipped with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) that combines functionalities like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection and automatic parking assist.
Urban Cruiser from Toyota
Toyota is set to launch another crossover called Urban Cruiser, It is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza which is the sub-4-meter segment. The all-new Urban Cruiser is Toyota’s second rebadged car model in India under the Suzuki-Toyota agreement. That means it offers a 1.5-litre petrol engine option, 4-cylinder petrol mild-hybrid powertrain that’s capable of churning out 77kW and 138Nm, driving the front wheels that is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque-converter automatic.
What is particularly handy about the Urban Cruiser using Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza platform, is the 198 mm ground clearance value. That should give it more than adequate gravel travel ability and also good pothole strike survivability, both ride and handling features which are of potentially great benefit to Indian drivers.
Key features include Cruise-control, New Smart Playcast touchscreen audio with Android Auto / Apple Carplay and smartphone-based navigation, Rain-sensing wipers, Auto AC [Standard feature for all versions], Electrochromic rearview mirror.
At the rear, the Urban Cruiser will feature a distinctive split tail light cluster with a unique LED light signature. The Urban Cruiser gets a very distinct – almost Fortuner-like front design to really make it stand out against its rivals. The estimated price is Rs. 8.50 -11.50 lakhs
