Micromax IN series: What are the analysts saying

Micromax is banking on a tug of nationalism to drum up its advertising campaign as it gets ready for launch. But will that be enough to get the consumer? We spoke to analysts who said the anti-Chinese sentiment is a short run game. Micromax will have to offer value and quality to the consumer in order to survive long term is what analysts agree upon. According to IDC’s Navkendar Singh, “For the consumer, it is about value, he sees the value and Chinese players have been giving the value. They (Micromax) have to match them (Chinese) in terms of product portfolio, in the specification versus price equation, in terms of investment, in marketing, retail marketing, online player distribution. If they’re not able to do that, they will just fizzle out.”

Canalys’ Rushabh Doshi told indianexpress.com, “Micromax now faces competition with big pockets, which has a lot of money to spend, especially when it comes to branding and advertising. They will have to be quick in rebuilding that brand presence.”

Micromax IN series: What to expect

Micromax is expected to announce two new phones in the Indian market today. The devices will be in the budget segment likely priced under Rs 15,000. Micromax is promising a clean performance with stock Android, and a good performance for gamers. It also looks like the company’s latest phone will have a 48MP camera setup at the back. Of course, 48MP cameras on budget phones have become quite common. Micromax’s phones will be listed on Flipkart.

Micromax to face tough competition

As Micromax makes a comeback in the Indian smartphone market, the brand is going to have a tough fight against the already established Chinese brands. It will be interesting to see how Micromax will take on popular brands like Xiaomi and Realme.

Micromax IN series is now official. The phones will start at Rs 10,999 for the IN Note 1 and Rs 6,999 for the IN 1b. Both phones are powered by MediaTek processors and come with stock Android. The IN Note 1 has a quad-camera at the back and the main camera is 48MP, the IN 1b has a dual camera at the back and the main camera is 13MP. IN Note 1 and IN 1b will be sold on Flipkart and Micromax official website.

The Micromax IN 1b starts at Rs 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage version. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version will cost Rs 7,999. Best economic mobile phones for January 2021

Nowadays mobile phones are used for several purposes. Some of them are important and some of them for time pass.

What are the main use of mobile phones?

  1. Make calls
  2. Send Messages
  3. Surf Websites
  4. Capture your best moments
  5. Enter into online and offline applications.

To fulfill this, and average person only need a phone with price around 10,000 RS. Selecting a phone with maximum features is a himalayan task for few. Here are my list of budget phones for the month of January 2021.

5. Realme C15 3GB 32 GB

Realme C15 only have 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. You might be wondering why this phone entered into my top 5 budget phone list for the new decade.

Following are key elements making the Realme C15 in my favorite list.

  • 6.52 inch HD Display
  • 13MP AI Quad Camera
  • 6000 mAh battery

Realme C15 can be preferred for those who are looking for a good photography experience and huge battery backup.

4. Redmi 9 Prime 4GB 64GB

Redmi 9 Prime outperformed Realme C15 with its 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.

Other few features are

  • A descent 5020 mAh battery
  • 6.53 full HD Display
  • AI Quad Camera

3. Oppo A5 2020 3GB 64GB

Oppo A5 beaten Redmi 9 Prime with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octa core processor. I personally like Qualcomm processors over MediaTek.

Key other features include

  • 64 GB internal memory
  • Snapdragon 665 Octa Core Processor
  • 5000 mAh battery

2. Samsung Galaxy M11 3GB 32 GB

Even though the Galaxy M11 comes with 3GB RAM 32GB internal memory, the position of the selfi Camera given rank 2 in my list. Most of the under 10K range Smartphones comes with water drop Camera. Hence the punch hole Camera in the Galaxy M11 making it favorable for many. Moreover Samsung has more brand value than the other phones in the list. At least from my point for view. There is no need for an argument at this time.

Here are some of the other key features

  • Expandable memory support upto 512GB
  • Qualcomm octa core processor
  • 5000 mAh battery

1. Redmi 9 4GB 128 GB

While seeing the heading itself you might have noticed the heavy internal memory. Getting a Smartphone with 128GB under 10K is the only reason making Redmi 9 in the top of my list. 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory gives enough room  for us store and capture whatever we wants.

Other Key features are

  • 5000 mAh battery
  • 6.53 HD display

Note: I have checked our main online ecommerce websites prior to writing this article. There might be small variations in the price when you check the price online. Sellers keep changing in Flipkart and Amazon. I’m sure that these phones can be purchased within 10000RS. If you see the price above 10000RS, please visit the site on a later point so that the seller with less price shows again.
