The device will be available in two colors – deep sapphire blue and natural forest green – on Flip kart starting August 31.
Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola on Monday launched a new budget smartphone Moto G9 featuring a triple camera system along with a massive 5000mAh battery.
Moto G9 is a powerful leap in performance, camera, battery and more. Designed to deliver power across the board, the new Moto G9 takes the user experience to the next level by combining all they wanted in one product,” the company said in a statement.
Priced at Rs 11,499, the Moto G9 will be available in 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant.
The device runs Android 10 and it also comes with a promise of one minimum OS upgrade and two years of security updates, said the company.

Its running on Android 10 Os out of the box, the Moto G9 smartphone offers a display of 6.5- inch HD +screen of 1600x720p resolution with a waterdrop notch and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Moto g9 smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which the company is claiming makes it the first smartphone to come powered by this processor in the country. On the storage front, the device offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of up to 512GB.
The Moto G9 has a triple-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor (f/1.7 aperture). There are also two 2MP depth and macro sensors with f/2.4 aperture each. The rear camera setup offers modes such as auto smile capture, AR stickers, burst shot, etc. On the front, users get an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and features like face beauty, gesture selfie, and portrait mode.
Measuring 165.21 x 75.73 x 9.18 mm and weighing 200 grams, the smartphone offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM support, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
The smartphone houses a 48MP main camera, along with 2MP Micro and 2MP depth camera at the back. The 48MP main camera sensor comes complete with Quad Pixel technology with 4x light sensitivity, Night Vision mode, and a large f/1.7 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera sensor at the front.
Moto G9 and any other Moto G9 series phone launched on August 24 will succeed in the Moto G8 series in the country that includes phones like Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Power Lite.
