Oppo A53 2020 Set to launch in India

Oppo A53 2020 is scheduled to launch in India on August 25. Ahead of it, a new leak suggests the world’s second-largest smartphone market will get a different memory variant. The company has sent out official invites for the online launch stream, and the India launch event will take place on August 25, at 12:30 PM on YouTube.

The Oppo A53 2020 model is currently available for pre-order in Indonesia. Oppo had previously launched the A53 back in 2015, and this new variant now gets the same name. The Oppo A53 2020 brings puns-hole display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. The company tweeted, “The faster and smoother #OPPO A53 IS HERE! Get ready to feel the speed!

In Indonesia, the online retailer Shoppe has listed the Oppo A53 for pre-order at IDR 2,499,000 (roughly 12,700).

Specifications
The Oppo A53 (2020) is powered by a Snapdragon 460 SoC. For comparison, the Oppo A52 (2020) uses a Snapdragon 665 SoC. The new Oppo A53 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 10 with the ColorOS 7.2 skin.

The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600×720 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For photos and videos, the Oppo A53 comes with a triple rear camera setup that is highlighted by a 16-megapixel primary sensor. It is supported by two 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies and video calls, the Oppo A53 2020 features a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture placed inside the hole punch cutout at the front.

Oppo A53 (2020) has the basic Connectivity Options that include 3G, 4G LTE that enables HD voice calls, and video calls on supported Jio networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, Mini USB for online location tracking, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone features a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Oppo A53 (2020) has 64GB of internal storage capacity. You may use its internal storage to install your favorite apps and games. Also, there’s a hybrid card slot for expanding the internal storage all your favorite movies, music, pictures, videos, etc.

WhatsApp recently made an announcement related to the end-to-end encryption to the cloud backups on both Android and iOS. As you may be aware like WhatsApp itself has been end-to-end encrypted by default,  and now if you chose to backup your chats history to Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iOS), those data is also encrypted. Now,  you can enable end-to-end encryption for your backups. It’s an announcement from WhatsApp, and it won’t be on by default option but the user has to choose to enable it by going to Settings > Chats > Chat Backup > End-to-end Encrypted Backup.

Apple Unleashed event today at 10.30 PM IST

After the release of the iPhone 13 series and a new smartwatch, Apple is ready to host another launch event today. Users can expect to see the launch of new Macbooks running on Apple’s in-house M1 chipsets on the Apple ‘Unleashed’ event.  Apple fans eagerly waiting for the new MacBook Models and a new mini version of the same. Oppo recently launched Oppo F19s mobile on 27th September 2021. This one also has a 6.43-inch touchscreen display. This display is equipped with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels at a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch (PPI) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. F19s comes with 6GB of RAM and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The Oppo F19s runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
Also, the Oppo F19s supports proprietary fast charging. Dimensions of the Oppo F19s measures 160.30 x 73.80 x 7.95mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 175.00 grams.

On the camera department, the Oppo F19s on the rear packed with a triple camera (has autofocus) setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
