Xiaomi says that the Mi 10 has a P2i coating to repel water, but there isn’t any IP rating. Other than this, it has almost everything you can think of, starting with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, fast wireless charging, and 5G.
It runs on MIUI 11 and Xiaomi has replaced some of its own apps like the dialler and messages with Google’s apps. However, spam notifications are still an issue, although it’s not as severe as its budget offerings.
The Snapdragon 865 is a powerful chip but it also makes the phone quite hot when using the camera or even gaming. The stereo speakers sound balanced but don’t get very loud. The in-display fingerprint sensor on the other hand is not very quick, and it took a good second before it recognized our finger and unlocked the phone.
Xiaomi is making a big deal about its 108-megapixel primary camera, which performs well in daylight and at night. The other cameras are wide-angle and macro, which work decently well in the day but aren’t very good in low light. The 20-megapixel selfie camera is also decent but not great at night.
Battery life is very good on the Mi 10 5G, as it typically lasts for an entire day. Fast charging helps and there’s even reverse wireless charging.
Mi 10 Pro
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The OnePlus 8 is the spiritual successor of the OnePlus 7 and will go on to eventually replace the OnePlus 7T. Build quality is excellent thanks to the curved-edge front and back glass sandwiching the metal frame. The buttons are easy to reach, and the alert slider is handy as always.
The OnePlus 8 has a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with sloping sides, a wide colour gamut, and a hole-punch cutout in the upper left corner. The 90Hz refresh rate makes usage in general feel fluid and snappy. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is super quick at authentication. All it takes is a quick, firm tap to unlock it.
The OnePlus 8 has the same 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with optical stabilization as the 7T. In daylight, it captures detailed images with vivid colours and balanced HDR. The wide-angle camera is also useful. The third macro camera doesn’t have good clarity but it can be useful in some instances. The selfie camera was decent under good light but didn’t do well in low light.
2020 iPad Air- Features
Apple in September 2020 unveiled a redesigned iPad Air. It will launch sometime in October. Apple updated the iPad Air with a fourth-generation model that features a radical redesign that brings it closer in design to the iPad Pro. Priced at $599, the iPad Air is a middle-tier option between the low-cost $329 eighth-generation iPad and the more expensive iPad Pro, priced starting at $799. The iPad Air will be available for purchase in October, and pricing starts at $599 for 64 GB of storage. 256GB of storage is available for $749. Base prices are for WiFi models, with Cellular models available for an additional cost. The new iPad Air starts at Rs 54,900, and will start selling in India from next month.
Features of iPad Air
The iPad Air features a 10.9-inch edge-to-edge display with a 2360×1640 resolution, 3.8 million pixels, and a design that’s similar to the iPad Pro with an aluminum chassis that features flat, rounded edges that wrap around the fully-laminated display. True Tone support is included for adjusting the display to match the ambient lighting, as is P3 wide color, 500 nits brightness, and 1.8 percent reflectivity.
Apple’s iPad Air is the first iPad to offer unique color options similar to iPhone colors. The iPad Air is available in silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue. What’s most unique about the iPad Air is the new Touch ID sensor integrated into the top button, a first for an Apple device.
The iPad Air does not feature Face ID and relies solely on Touch ID for biometric authentication purposes. Other than being built into the top button instead of a Home button, the Touch ID functionality is the same as other devices that feature Touch ID.
Though there’s no Face ID, the iPad Air includes a 7-megapixel front-facing FaceTime camera along with a 12-megapixel rear camera which is the same wide-angle camera used in the iPad Pro. Speaker quality has been updated with the iPad Air now sporting stereo speakers in landscape mode for wider stereo sound when watching video.
Instead of a Lightning port, the new iPad Air has a USB-C port for up to 5Gbps data transfer along with support for connecting cameras, hard drives, and 4K external monitors. The iPad Air ships with a new 20W USB-C adapter for charging purposes.
Like the iPad Pro, the iPad Air supports the $129 second-generation Apple Pencil and it works with the $279 Magic Keyboard with trackpad that Apple offers. It is also compatible with the Smart Keyboard Folio and Smart Folio covers.
Five things you need to know about iPad Air:
- New iPad Air resembles an iPad Pro
- The first Apple device with the A14 Bionic chipset
- New iPad Air supports Magic Keyboard and 2nd gen Pencil
- It is the first Apple product to support side-mounted Touch ID
- It lacks a LiDAR scanner
New iPad Air resembles an iPad Pro
For the first time, the iPad Air is getting a full redesign. The new iPad Air’s design is heavily inspired by the iPad Pro with squared-off sides and no home button on the front. The 10.9-inch Retina Display with True Tone is being stretched to the edges with similar bezels – similar to the iPad Pro. It doesn’t have a 120Hz ProMotion display, though. The updated iPad Air also now has a USB-C port, replacing the traditional Lightning connector. It’s also the first non-iPad Pro model to feature stereo speakers.
The first Apple device with the A14 Bionic chipset
The fourth-generation iPad Air is the first Apple product with the latest A14 Bionic processors. This is the same chipset that’s usually reserved for new iPhone 12 series, but those phones are not even out yet. Nevertheless, the chipset is made on the 5nm scale making it one of the first processors from any manufacturer in the industry. Apple claims the A14 Bionic is 40 per cent faster than the chipset found in the previous-generation iPad Air. Storage comes in at 64GB and 256GB.
New iPad Air supports Magic Keyboard and 2nd gen Pencil
And it will work with the Magic Keyboard. This is a new keyboard accessory that has a laptop-style trackpad for the iPad. The Magic Keyboard turns iPad Air into a floating display. The Magic Keyboard is originally designed for the iPad Pro, but since the new iPad Air has the same design as the iPad Pro, the accessory works perfectly with the redesigned tablet. The Magic Keyboard is sold separately and costs Rs 27,900. The new tablet is also compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil stylus similar to the iPad Pro. The 2nd gen Apple Pencil doesn’t come in the box. You have to buy it separately for Rs 10,899.
It is the first Apple product to support side-mounted Touch ID
The new iPad Air doesn’t feature Face ID, instead it relies on a new Touch ID sensor built into the power button on the top of the tablet. It’s the first Apple device that comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. All you need to touch the top power button to use Touch ID for unlocking of the tablet or purchasing apps.
It lacks a LiDAR scanner
The new model the same12MP lens on the back as on the iPad Pro and a 7MP camera on the front. However, the Air misses on the LiDAR scanner that can be used to measure the distance to objects in a room. The expensive iPad Pro includes a LiDAR scanner and Apple’s new 3D camera technology is also coming to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. A LiDAR lens essentially enables new augmented-reality experiences on the iPad.

Your blood oxygen level is a key indicator of your overall wellness. It can help you understand how well your body is absorbing oxygen, and the amount of oxygen delivered to your body. The remarkable new sensor and app in Apple Watch Series 6 allow you to take on-demand readings of your blood oxygen as well as background readings, day and night.
New sensor. New insights. The new blood oxygen sensor is made up of four LED clusters and four photodiodes. Incorporated into the completely redesigned back crystal, this new sensor works in concert with the Blood Oxygen app to determine your blood oxygen level.
Deeply illuminating. Green, red and infrared LEDs shine light onto the blood vessels in your wrist, and photodiodes measure the amount of light reflected back. Advanced algorithms then calculate the colour of your blood, which indicates the amount of oxygen present.
Here’s what you need
Make sure that the Blood Oxygen app is available in your country or region. You will be able to see this during the setup process.
- Update your iPhone 6s or later to the latest version of iOS.

Measuring your blood oxygen levels with the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch Series 6
You can measure your blood oxygen levels with the Blood Oxygen app.
The Blood Oxygen app can allow you to measure the oxygen level of your blood on-demand directly from your wrist, providing you with insights into your overall wellness. Measurements taken with the Blood Oxygen app are not intended for medical use and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.
The Blood Oxygen app is only available in certain countries and regions.
What is blood oxygen?
Your blood oxygen level represents the percentage of oxygen your red blood cells carry from your lungs to the rest of your body. Knowing how well your blood performs this vital task can help you understand your overall wellness.
The majority of people have a blood oxygen level of 95 – 99%. However, some people live a normal life with blood oxygen levels below 95%.
How to use the Blood Oxygen app
Make sure that you meet the below requirements and follow the steps to set up the Blood Oxygen app.
- Make sure that your Apple Watch is snug but comfortable on your wrist.
- Open the Blood Oxygen app on your Apple Watch.
- Stay still, and make sure your wrist is flat with the Apple Watch facing up.
- Tap Start, then keep your arm steady for 15 seconds.
Wait. The measurement takes 15 seconds. At the end of the measurement, you will receive the results.
- Tap Done.
About background measurements
The Blood Oxygen app on your Apple Watch will occasionally measure your blood oxygen levels if background measurements are on. This will usually happen when you are not moving. Depending on how active you are, the number of readings collected each day and the time between these readings will vary. Blood oxygen measurements use a bright red light that shines against your wrist, so it may be more visible in dark environments. If you find the light distracting, you can turn off background measurements.
- Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap Blood Oxygen, then turn off In Sleep Mode and In Theater Mode.
- Blood oxygen measurements only occur during sleep if the Track Sleep with Apple Watch setting is turned on.
How the Blood Oxygen app works
In Apple Watch Series 6, the optical heart sensor has been redesigned to add blood oxygen measurement capabilities. During a blood oxygen measurement, the back crystal shines red and green LEDs and infrared light onto your wrist. Photodiodes then measure the amount of light reflected back.
View your Health information
All blood oxygen measurements, whether on-demand or in the background, are saved in the Health app on your iPhone.
- Open the Health app.
- Tap the Browse tab, then tap Respiratory > Blood Oxygen.
- You can also filter and view measurements taken only while sleeping or in a high-elevation environment.
Things you should know
Blood Oxygen app measurements are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes. If you have questions about your health, contact a medical professional.
The Blood Oxygen app is designed for users who are at least 18 years old.
Slightly lower values while sleeping are expected, and some users might experience values below 95%.
Even under ideal conditions, your Apple Watch may not be able to get a reliable blood oxygen measurement every time. For a small percentage of users, various factors may make it impossible to get any blood oxygen measurement. Skin perfusion (or how much blood flows through your skin) can impact measurements. Skin perfusion varies significantly from person to person and can also be impacted by the environment. If you are out in the cold, for example, the skin perfusion in your wrist might be too low for the sensor to work with the Blood Oxygen app to get a measurement.
Permanent or temporary changes to your skin, such as some tattoos, can also impact performance. The ink, pattern, and saturation of some tattoos can block light from the sensor, making it difficult for the Blood Oxygen app to get a measurement. Motion is another factor that can affect your ability to get a successful background or on-demand measurements. Certain postures, such as arms hanging by your side or fingers in a fist position will also result in unsuccessful measurements.
If your heart rate is too high (above 150 bpm) while at rest, you won’t be able to get a successful blood oxygen measurement.
ECG On your wrist, Anytime, Anywhere.
With the ECG app, Apple Watch Series 6 is capable of generating an ECG similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. It’s a momentous achievement for a wearable device that can provide critical data for doctors and peace of mind for you.
Your finger can tell you a lot about your heart. Electrodes built into the Digital Crown and the back crystal work together with the ECG app to read your heart’s electrical signals. Simply touch the Digital Crown to generate an ECG waveform in just 30 seconds. The ECG app can indicate whether your heart rhythm shows signs of atrial fibrillation — a serious form of irregular heart rhythm — or sinus rhythm, which means your heart is beating in a normal pattern.
Sleep A better day begins with a better night.
Getting the right amount of sleep is important for good health. The new Sleep app helps you establish a regular bedtime routine and keep track of your sleep trends night after night. So you can set and achieve your personal sleep goals.
Fitness, We pushed it further to push you further.
