We know from the small sector to large sector technical hypes are more this year. One of the famous one in this list are the Google’s Allo, an instant messaging service that implemented artificial intelligence. Also a phone from Google home names “Pixel” also used the virtual assistant. Despite all the hype, all virtual assistants, including Google’s Assistant, Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa are also very popular now. Add up to that there are virtual assistant speakers also there from Apple and Amazon this year.

Wifi is a common network term for people from 2016 and its meant to be the complete tech world.In addition, Google and the start-up Eero made Wi-Fi networks easier to set up for those with little technical know-how. All laptops, mobile devices and all electronic devices now have the wifi technology to connect with.

VR is the another one important item that is very popular nowadays. Almost all major mobile device companies are going to be a part of VR research wing and in coming years it should be in market. Virtual reality still has a long way to go before it becomes mainstream. The devices released this year by HTC, Facebook’s Oculus, Sony PlayStation and Google largely revolve around gaming, limiting their audience. In addition, most of the devices are expensive.

A security robot failed to serve and protect while on duty patrolling a mall in Silicon Valley after it ran over and injured a toddler this year. The 5-foot tall and 300 pound K5 model robot made by the company Knightscope comes complete with high-tech features like thermal imaging sensors, lasers, a microphone and 360 video in order to identify potential criminal activity.

An unmanned SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket exploded on the launch pad during a test in Florida on Thursday, destroying a satellite that Facebook planned to use to beam high-speed internet to Africa. The rocket was part of a fleet of spacecraft operated by SpaceX, the private space aviation company owned by internet billionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk. The spaceship was undergoing pre-launch testing when it blew up, according to a SpaceX statement, which said that no one was hurt during the accident.
