Though they don’t have a pleasant past, Kareena Kapoor Khan was the first name that popped up in Shahid Kapoor’s mind when he was narrated the movie.

According to the 35-year-old actress’ Twitter page @KareenaOnline, “when Sasha was narrated the film, he ‘thought of Kareena even before Alia,’ as he felt ‘she was just perfect for the role.”

After nine-years of Imtiaz Ali directed Jab We Met, where the former couple broke up, Bebo and the 35-year-old actor will be seen together, but not opposite each other, in Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab.
